Beric's additional plans in the wake of the drow incident

In addition to his campaign for leader of Phandalin, Beric has some other plans. Being fairly confident in himself, he will be sending out messengers to spread some word of the deeds of our party. He wants people to know that the [insert undecided group name here] is searching for warriors willing to follow him and his party. Any initial recruits that Beric can get his hands on will be put through training and will become the town guard. This guard will protect the town, the spell forge, and the route between.

Beric would like to open negotiations for a larger share of the spell forge proceeds in order to secure the protection of it and the town. For the time being, this force will be limited by the funds he can secure for the town itself.

OOC: Sildar has proven himself to be trustworthy but what level of devotion does he show for the town? Do his actions seem to be primarily to further his own wealth, or does he truly care for Phandalin? Finally, is he proving to be a friend to us, or simply a business acquaintance?

Beric would also like to help Ticier gain a presence within the town. Beric sees a strong leader of the wood carvers guild in Phandalin to be profitable for the town. He would also just like to help his friend.
